Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, an in-depth understanding of design and front-end development, and proven leadership abilities. You will be responsible for creating visually appealing and functional websites tailored to our clients' business needs while ensuring optimal performance across different devices and browsers. As a Team Lead, you will guide and mentor a team of designers and developers, fostering collaboration and ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong communication and ability to convey technical concepts to team members and clients.
• Design and develop user-friendly, responsive websites using platforms such as WordPress, Wix, Webflow, Shopify, Squarespace, or other web development tools.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, goals, and brand identity to create custom websites that meet their needs.
• Implement website customizations, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
• Maintain and enhance existing websites by adding new features or improving functionality.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness of websites.
• Optimize websites for SEO, performance, and security.
• Work closely with the design team to implement UX/UI best practices.
• Conduct regular website testing and troubleshooting to ensure functionality and compatibility.
• Integrate third-party services and tools, such as email marketing, eCommerce solutions, and CRM systems.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web design and development trends and technologies.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Web Designer and Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and other front-end development frameworks.
• Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, etc.
• Familiarity with Shopify, Webflow, and Kajabi is a plus.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and responsive design.
• Experience with web design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
• Basic knowledge of back-end technologies (e.g., PHP, MySQL) is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with SEO best practices.
• Understanding of Google Analytics and other website performance monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with Zapier, Thrivecart, and other automation tools.
• Knowledge of basic graphic design principles and tools like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
