About The Role

We are seeking an allied health professional or specialist teacher to lead and grow our everyday learning and therapy team based in Canberra, with a focus on supporting staff engagement and quality service delivery to children and families.

While we would prefer a full-time staff member, we would be open to considering part-time arrangements.

About You

You lead with optimism and kindness to build a culture of quality and respect within the team

You are confident to develop and engage local networks to support growth and improve outcomes for children and families

You can balance a range of priorities and competing demands to ensure that all families are receiving a high-quality service from engaged, skilled and motivated staff members

Your Other Qualities Include

Strong leadership and people management capabilities to lead a high performing team

Flexible and adaptable to implementing and managing change

Skilled in use of technology to support teaming and work practices

Ability to lead a team using face to face connection and virtual technology to engage your staff.

Strong communication skills and ability to facilitate group processes

Supports a solution focused culture that is focused on outcomes for families

Efficient at managing admin tasks, compliance requirements and supervisory reporting with attentiveness to detail

5 years (minimum) experience in your discipline (Occupational therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Psychology etc)
