About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to lead a specialised team dedicated to supporting women during a critical time in their lives. You - ll be part of a supportive, innovative environment where you as Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in providing leadership and management to ensure the smooth, effective operation of our Specialist Maternal Mental Health Team. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and Clinical Leader to drive clinical excellence and support optimal health outcomes for women and their families/whānau.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day clinical, administrative, financial, and human resource management of the service, ensuring all activities align with MHAID Service district expectations, policies, procedures, and professional standards. Your leadership will also extend to contributing to key projects and participating in broader MHAIDS initiatives to continuously improve service delivery.
About the Team/Service/ Location
The Specialist Maternal Mental Health team is a multidisciplinary team based in Wellington, it is a regional team that delivers evidence-based treatment for women experiencing mental health challenges during pregnancy and up to 12 months postpartum.
About you
Requirements
Registered Mental Health professional.
Proven leadership experience within mental health.
Strong skills in team management, clinical governance, and service delivery.
Commitment to upholding high professional and ethical standards.
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
Passion for maternal mental health and improving outcomes for women and families.
Full driving license (clean).
