About Us...

Southport Sharks boasts a diverse range of food and beverage outlets, multi-purpose Events Centre with capacity for 1000 people, gaming room, kids' zone Health and Fitness Centre and a 120 room Mantra Hotel which includes a breath-taking rooftop bar.

We are seeking applications for a vibrant Team Leader Guest Service Agent with exceptional customer service skills to join our Front Desk team within the Club.

About the Role...

Monitor, evaluate and ensure staff productivity, service standards and professionalism on a shift-by-shift basis

Demonstrate effective leadership through staff motivation, promoting morale and fostering a professional attitude

Evaluate staff skill levels and provide to Management recommendations for improvement

Welcoming all members and guests

Promote the benefit of membership and the club loyalty program to non-members

Accurately process Club memberships

Answering all incoming phone calls, including redirection, answering queries and accepting dining bookings as required

Provide prompt, friendly, customer focused service to patrons purchasing take-away beverage and mini-mart items available at Fins Cellar

About You…

You will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service, willingness to build long-term relationships with our members and will have impeccable grooming, presentation and communication skills.

To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following:

Previous experience in a leadership/supervisor position

Experience in a Reception and/or Front Office environment is essential

Exceptional presentation and grooming

Ability to communicate with a variety of people

Knowledge of club facilities, services, promotional activities and membership procedures

Cash handling procedures

Experience in operating a PABX telephone system

Familiarity with Ticketmaster sales operation is an advantage

Strong problem solving abilities

Computer literacy with experience using Microsoft Office products

The successful applicant must be available to work across the week with various shifts ranging between the hours of 7.00am and 1.00am.
