DUTY STATEMENT

POSITION: Accountant

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

To assist in the delivery of high quality, efficient and accurate financial accounting, management

accounting and statutory reporting services. To provide these services in an accurate and timely manner through the provision of excellent customer service whilst complying with organizational policies and procedures, accounting standards and legislative requirements.

DUTIES OF POSITION:

Under direct supervision of the Accounts Team Leader:

Chase initial payment from the client
Make and send cost agreements and chase them
Make and send invoices to clients and chase them
Make and send invoices to sales agent for their commission and chase them
Make and send invoices to colleges for commission and chase them
Bank reconciliation to be completed daily
Process payroll for TBIC; and upload .aba file into company bank account
Process payroll for Aviva Holdings and upload .aba file in company bank account
BAS preparation for TBIC and other companies as directed by Team Leader
Process Superannuation payments for TBIC and Aviva Holdings quarterly
Swiftly and promptly actioning of internal bank transfers from business account to Andy / another business account as directed daily
Generate sales report, GST report monthly
Generate Profit and loss statement monthly for directors
Bookkeeping of payables and receivables
