We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our team as the Team Leader – Parliamentary Attendants (Chamber and Tours). In this unique role, you will supervise and coordinate a dedicated team of Parliamentary Attendants, ensuring the delivery of exceptional chamber and tour support services to Members, staff, and visitors.
What You'll Do In Your New Role
Coordinate and manage school, public, and special interest tours, collaborating with Members, electorate office staff, and various Parliamentary Service areas.
Mentor and train new employees, both permanent and casual, for tours and chamber duties. Additionally, oversee general supervisory responsibilities as a team leader, including creating rosters, approving timesheets, and managing overall team performance.
Create and present interactive and engaging tours, enhancing the visitor experience.
Plan and execute special events and tours, ensuring smooth operations through effective stakeholder coordination.
Step in as needed as a Parliamentary Attendant in the Legislative Assembly Chamber.
Support the Education and Liaison team with administrative tasks, including preparing training materials, managing bookings, and recording statistics.
