• This is a position for Project Valkyrie for PC Valuations – the bank’s strategic application for price testing – its milestone deliveries and regulatory commitments
• The role is that of a Valkyrie Technical Lead for a stack based on, but not restricted to, Microsoft technologies like .Net framework and SQL Server.

What will you be doing?
• Lead the code development and the feature delivery processes of the application
• Contribute towards identifying and implementing improvements to existing procedures to enhance efficiency
• Provide unit test cases for all changes made, ensuring that these are covered by changes to existing unit tests, or new ones that will be delivered with any code and maintain the code coverage threashold
• Participate in scrum process, possibly as the lead
• Identify and escalate issues and risks in a timely manner to the development/project manager so that project risk can be mitigated with minimal impact
• Act as 3rd line support, investigate and resolve problems in production
• Work closely with the Run the Bank team to ensure the optimal operation and therefore success of the system, as required
• Communicate effectively with business analysts, project managers and testers, understanding detailed business requirements at all stages of the development lifecycle
