The team
You will be joining to lead Application & Infrastructure Monitoring (AIM) team which is responsible for the monitoring of application, network and DT related monitoring (servers, virtualization, database, storage, backups, etc.). Our goal is to further improve customer availability by adopting modern stack/technologies for fast recovery, improving our monitoring setup and processes/framework used in everyday monitoring work.
You are a great fit if you enjoy working with people and you maintain your technical skills to solve issues with monitoring, processes we use and technical challenges.
Application and Infrastructure Monitoring Manager
• AIM manager is responsible for managing a team of up to 10 people which is monitoring our applications and infrastructure, to notice, identify and taking the necessary actions to mitigate the issue (or escalate if all else fails).
• Look to improve our monitoring setup (healthrules), processes, knowledge base, quality assurance and anything that can help us be better
• He/She will use coaching and mentoring practices to ensure that AIM team will be able to provide insights using monitoring tools, perform initial checks to indicate the direction or a potential root cause for the investigation. In addition, act as point of escalation within monitoring team to solve incoming cases.
• In addition, you'll become a critical person for AIM team and will be able to influence your own role as well as direction where and how organization is going.
