Introduction:

The process is expected to facilitate the amendment or rebooking of trades, since once it goes into the market, there will be a number of mismatches when compared to counterparty and this needs to fixed by coordinating with market counterparties/custodian and internal teams like front office and the dealers. The criticality of the process requires maker checker controls and it is key that the manager ensures all controls are met within the agreed timelines and also market cut offs.

What will you be doing?
• Responsibility for manual booking of trades
• Checking the bookings done by team members
• Pre-matching
• Liaising with traders and dealing teams
• Trade confirmations
• Responding to queries in line with stakeholder expectations and ensuring all responses are clear and identify the critical elements of the query to avoid potential rework at a later stage
• Fail trades management
• Money market
• Funding movements
• Third party payments

What we’re looking for:
• Good knowledge on corporate actions and settlements and market requirements with minimum experience of years
• Understand operational risks and able to make timely escalation
• Experience of using Intellimatch, Swift, Excel and Word will be an advantage.
• Good analytical skills
• Strong numeric skills
• Good time management, prioritising tasks to meet the deadlines
• Ability to adapt in a fast moving environment
