City of Parramatta is seeking skilled and motivated labourers to join our team. As a Team Member in the Civil team, you will be responsible for delivering services that ensure Parramatta’s Civil Infrastructure assets are maintained and improved, enhancing the appearance of our City!

Key responsibilities:

Drive and operate a truck for the Civil maintenance teams.

Operate a variety of plant equipment to complete all works.

Assist in formwork operations.

Contribute to the completion of concrete finishing.

Assist with excavation.

About You

The successful applicant will bring the following skills to the team :

Previous Civil Works experience or willingness to learn.

Adaptable team player, with the skills to manage changing priorities and be willingly take on additional assignments as directed.

Be collaborative with other teams and operational areas to provide assistance when needed.

To be considered for the role, candidates must possess the essential requirements outlined below, be actively pursuing, or demonstrate a willingness to obtain .

Qualifications:

MR Truck licence- Essential

WHS Industry Certificate (White Card)- Essential

Asbestos awareness

Powerline awareness

Possession of current TCR and IMP traffic controller certificates

This exciting opportunity is a Permanent Full-Time role.

38 hours per week

Monday to Friday

6.30am-3:00pm

Monthly Rostered Day Off

We are offering an attractive hourly rate from $31.13 to $34.28 plus 11% superannuation.
