- Our client, a leading NBFC in India, is looking for a Team Member - Credit for their Infrastructure Finance division.
- The candidate should have a CA or MBA degree from a Tier 1/2 college with 3-5 years of experience in the infrastructure industry, with a focus on roadways.
- The candidate will evaluate the creditworthiness of loan applications, monitor portfolios, and ensure compliance with statutory regulations related to infrastructure financing.
- The candidate must have strong financial analysis, communication, and team player skills, as well as an ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing economic conditions and statutory regulations.
Designation: Team Member Credit- Large Corporate
Education: A CA (Chartered Accountant) or an MBA degree from a Tier 1/2 college.
Experience: 2-5 years of work experience in the infrastructure industry with a background in roadways.
Job Responsibilities:
Evaluate the creditworthiness of loan applications for Infra lending division.
- Consider various quantitative and qualitative factors to scrutinize credit proposals.
- Analyze the business model of the client and conduct critical analysis of business and financial risks.
- Recommend tools and steps for mitigation of risks.
- Perform financial ratio analysis and analyze the risk appraisal reports.
- Support credit lending decisions and ensure compliance with credit lending norms.
- Review portfolio cases and make periodic presentations to Head Risk & Compliance and CCRO.
- Build risk awareness about sectoral issues and regulatory policies related to infra business.
- Ensure compliance with various statutory acts such as the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and regulatory guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India.
- Keep continuous surveillance for portfolios of both project finance and structured finance businesses.
- Ensure minimal NPAs through timely implementation of mitigation plans.
- Monitor economic conditions and changes in statutory regulations.
Functional Skills:
- Ability to evaluate the creditworthiness of loan applications for the Infra lending division based on various quantitative and qualitative factors.
- Proficiency in analyzing the business model of the client and conducting critical analysis of business and financial risks.
- Strong financial ratio analysis skills.
- Familiarity with statutory regulations related to infrastructure financing, such as the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and regulatory guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India.
- Ability to build risk awareness about sectoral issues and regulatory policies related to infra business.
- Excellent communication skills to make periodic presentations about asset performance and compliance with terms and conditions under the loan agreement to Head Risk & Compliance and CCRO.
- Strong monitoring and surveillance skills to ensure minimal NPAs through timely implementation of mitigation plans.
