JOB ROLE:
The role involves providing legal support to the Wholesale Banking business of Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited. The incumbent should be proficient in legal drafting, research and negotiations with counterparties and would be required to work in close coordination with the Bank’s business team members and external counsel engaged by the bank and those acting for the client. Needs to have working knowledge of banking finance laws, companies act, contract act, transfer of property act and FEMA. The incumbent should be able to independently carry on day to day work as part of the wholesale banking legal team and handle communication with clients and external counsels. Candidates with previous work experience in financial institutions or top tier law firms would be preferred.
Work Experience- 3-4 years PQE
Qualification- Preferably BA LLB/BBA LLB and CS qualification is an added benefit.
