Job Description: Team Member Legal
Job Role:
The role involves providing legal support to the Kotak Infrastructure Debt Fund Limited (KIDF) and Structured Finance Group team of Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited (Bank).
The incumbent should be proficient in legal drafting, research and negotiations with counterparties and would be required to work in close coordination with the Bank’s and KIDF’s business team members and external counsel engaged by the Bank or KIDF and those acting for the client.
Needs to have working knowledge of banking finance laws, companies act, contract act, transfer of property act and FEMA.
The incumbent should be able to independently carry on day to day work as part of the legal team and handle communication with clients and external counsels.
Candidates with previous work experience in financial institutions working on project finance or top tier law firms would be preferred.
Job Specification:
Work Experience- 5-6 years PQE
Qualification- Preferably BA LLB/BBA LLB and CS qualification is an added benefit.
Job Location- Mumbai, Goregaon office.
