Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Leader for our Video Editing and Motion Graphics team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of hands-on experience in movie production and OTT platforms, with a proven track record of leading a large team of video editors and motion graphics artists.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Management:
- Lead and manage a team of 15-20 video editors and motion graphics artists.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
- Provide guidance, support, and feedback to team members, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
2. Project Oversight:
- Coordinate with producers, directors, and other departments to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Manage both stock-based and shoot-based projects, ensuring smooth workflow and effective resource allocation.
- Monitor progress and address any issues or challenges that arise during the editing and motion graphics process.
3. Creative Direction:
- Offer creative input and direction on video editing and motion graphics, ensuring alignment with project goals and brand standards.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to implement innovative techniques and tools.
4. Quality Control:
- Review and approve final edits, motion graphics, and animations to ensure they meet the required quality and consistency.
- Implement and maintain best practices for video editing and motion graphics production.
5. Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the team.
- Develop and implement new workflows, tools, and technologies to enhance productivity and output quality.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in movie production or OTT content creation.
- Proven experience leading a team of 15-20 professionals in video editing and motion graphics.
- Strong knowledge of industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling.
