Qualifications:

• We'll be loading and unloading goods both by hand and with heavy machinery all day, so you'll need to be able to lift 75 pounds or more on a daily basis.
• When it is time to leave the warehouse, the driver will have a manifest with his name and a list of stores where deliveries and pickups will be made.
• The day of a truck driver is separated into two parts: driving and other operations such as delivery, handling, shipping orders/paperwork, customer interaction, and vehicle AM and PM inspections.
• Client transaction paperwork, as well as regulatory needs such as Hazmat preparation, vehicle inspection reports, load reports, and trip reports, are all handled using handheld computers. Drivers follow a computer-generated Route and Sequence delivery plan.
• Verify the seal number with a store representative and account for any shortages, mislabeling, or returns after unloading.
• Reports on what he has done and what he hasn't done Inspections before and after the voyage, identifying and reporting any problems or shortcomings to supervisors.
• The Truck Driver must provide excellent customer service when delivering things to customers.
• Working outside in all types of weather is required.
Skills:
• A valid BC driver's license, as well as awareness of DOT requirements, is necessary.
