Job Summary:
Senior Data Engineer.
Responsible for developing and implementing analytic data models and data pipelines for multiple business processes on 3Ms data warehouse and big data analytics infrastructure within the Medical Solutions Division.
Principle Responsibilities:

Design and implement data models and curated datasets on a modern data warehouse and data hub
Interface directly with business and systems subject matter experts to understand analytic needs and determine logical data model requirementsDevelop and implement data integration processes across Hadoop, Snowflake, BI systems, and transactional databasesWork closely with data architects and senior analysts to identify common data requirements and develop shared solutionsSupport data model and data integration solutions in productionSupport and maintain technology platformsRequired Skills and Experiences:
Strong data warehouse and ETL backgroundAdvanced SQL programming capabilitiesStrong background in preparing data for analysis and reportingExperience with analytical tools for data discovery & modeling, visualization, and analysisSuccess in a highly dynamic technology demand driven environment with ability to shift priorities with agilityAbility to go from whiteboard discussion to codeWillingness to explore and implement new ideas and technologiesAbility to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiencesAbility to work independently with minimal supervision
Minimum Qualifications:8+ years experience with SQL. PL/SQL, Impala, Snowflake, or equivalent6+ years experience Informatica, Talend, Ni
Fi, or equivalent6+ years experience with data modeling design and implementation4+ years experience working directly with subject matter experts in both business and technology domains2+ years experience with BI and analytic tools such as Tableau, Datameer, R, or similarNice-to-have:
Hands-on experience with Cloudera or Snowflake
Hands-on experience with PythonFamiliarity with cloud-native technologiesFamiliarity with Oracle EBS systemsEducation:
Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, science discipline, or similar
