What You'll do:
Collaboration and Communication: Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment. Effectively communicate technical concepts and project updates to stakeholders, both technical and non-technical. Facilitate productive discussions and resolve technical issues or conflicts that may arise.
Technical Leadership and Technical Expertise: Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in software engineering, and leverage this knowledge to guide the team in adopting new technologies, tools, and frameworks. Serve as a subject matter expert in relevant technical domains. Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to the software engineering team. Lead by example and promote best practices in software development, design patterns, coding standards, and quality assurance.
Architecture and Design: Drive the architectural design of software solutions, taking into account scalability, performance, maintainability, and security. Work closely with the team to review and provide feedback on technical designs and ensure alignment with business goals.
Code Reviews and Quality Assurance: Conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines. Collaborate with the QA team to define and implement effective testing strategies, including unit tests, integration tests, and automated testing.
Project Planning and Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to define project requirements, scope, and timelines. Plan, prioritize, and execute software development projects, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and drive initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and software quality. Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.
What makes you a great fit:
6+ years of experience in preferably in a tech startup
Strong foundation in server-side programming languages like Java, Node (TypeScript), Python
Professional experience with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB etc.)
Solid understanding and experience with REST API and GraphQL API architecture
Experience with containerization (Docker etc.) and cloud technologies
Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough solutions
Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems
Comfort working in a highly agile, iterative software development process
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Product company experience
Knowledge of Project Management tools like Jira
Knowledge of Data Science Applications & Statistical Analysis
Understanding of microservice architecture

The core data platform marries data from over 250+ sources to provide awareness of Businesses Data - Identity & Financial Stability of Businesses & Promoters, Consumer Behaviour Patterns - Demographic & Socio-economic trends up to 150m and Market Insights: News, developments & growth trends to enhance the planning & operation execution of these enterprises leading to improved efficiency.
