Technical Analyst - Problem Solver, SQL Expert | Wymondham/Hybrid

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Analyst to join the team and take on a mix of troubleshooting, SQL development, helpdesk support, and customer interaction.
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of technical problem-solving—debugging SQL code, investigating system issues, reviewing legacy code, and working across teams to identify and implement effective solutions. You’ll also play a key role in ensuring project quality and providing valuable training and support to both customers and colleagues.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues, ensuring systems run smoothly.
• Writing, debugging, and optimising SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Working closely with developers, project managers, and customers to understand requirements and implement solutions.
• Supporting the helpdesk by addressing technical queries and resolving incidents efficiently.
• Reviewing and stepping through development code to pinpoint and fix issues.
• Contributing to project delivery, ensuring deadlines are met and updates are communicated.
Candidate Requirements
• SQL expertise – writing, debugging, and optimizing queries (Microsoft SQL Server).
• Experience with Microsoft web technologies, Git & Azure DevOps, and PowerShell scripting.
• 3–4 years in technical support with a Computer Science degree (or related).
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., Zendesk, Teamwork).
• Bonus: Knowledge of C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, and Azure SQL Database.
