Network Operations organization is seeking an experienced Network Data Center_DMZ Environment Engineer, who has good experience in Switching & Routing technologies. This position will work with Engineering, Service Delivery teams, Tools team & other Operations teams to deliver Best in Class service level network stability. The candidate should have experience with networking technologies, monitoring tools for proactive network management and issue resolution.
Responsibilities
• Primary responsibility is to Incident response, escalation and restoration
• Service-wide end-to-end operational coverage
• Network Operation combines service delivery and operation capabilities to run Bank of America’s global network 247365. Core functions are strategically organized around technical service domains inclusive our global teams
• Contribute in diagnosis and troubleshooting the resolution process for Event, Alerts or Low priority issue
• Should be able to take proactive actions, collaborate across regions effectively
• Adhere and practice key Network Processes and remain compliant with KPI, e.g. Response time, Resolution Time, MTTR etc..
Required Skills
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience
• Maintain a good understanding of Network Infrastructure, IPv4/v6, IP Routing, DNS, Security, HTTP(S), VPN, and Network Monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of integrating solutions with Cloud provider environments such as MS Azure, AWS, Google, IBM
• Should have good knowledge or hands on in routing, switching, Cisco Nexus, Firepower/ASA, Fortinet router and DMZ/ISP experience.
• Goon numbers of work experience of TCP/IP concepts, SDN, OSPF, BGP, VLAN, IPSEC, ISAKMP, PKI, QOS, Multicast, trunking/port-channeling, FHRP protocols, enterprise level MPLS, VDC, flavors of VPC, Fabricpath.
• Ability to utilize DDoS tools like Arbor and Prolexic/Akamai & F5/Silverline for mitigations to include Application layer, TCP state table and Bandwidth DDoS threats.
• HPE(Aruba)’s most current products including enterprise controller-based architecture and their Central management product and related toolsets.
• Working knowledge of Cisco DNA Center and / or Aruba Controller
• Able to work effectively with remote locations including onsite/offshore stakeholder streams
• 3 years’ experience with Network technologies and have good experience in Switching & Routing,
• with Layer 2 & 3 in an enterprise network (EIGRP and BGP protocols)
• with SDWAN technologies (Palo Alto/CloudGenix)
• with a multi-vendor approach (Cisco & Palo Alto)
• with debugging complex networking problems, including working with carrier’s
