Job Description
Responsibilities
Assist team lead to permanently resolve problem tickets / recurring incidents that are logged by the support team, find resolution to problems, and implement the solution for the applications being supported.
Monitor the performance of the system on a regular basis, identify performance bottlenecks and work towards solution, liase with stakeholders for implementation. Help the team lead in identifying improvement opportunities and work on them.
Assist team lead to review the application technology stack for obsolescence and work on L2 projects for the proactive upgrade of the application software stack when applicable.
• Handle complete Application Life Cycle Management from SDLC process point of view.
• Review of existing processes & bringing in process improvements wherever required.
• Ensure that all team members (i.e. Technical Analysts / Programmers) perform the delegated tasks according to set timelines
• Provide managerial leadership (typically 80%) and technical leadership (typically 20%)
• Review MIS data & monthly presentations
• Monitoring Vendor performance and rating
• Review of POA for all critical projects etc…
• Ensure adequate resource management & team strength.
• Conducting periodical presentation/review with Senior Management
• Periodic review business meetings
• As per application requirements raise CAPEX and REVEX Budget on yearly basis.
• Raise FPN (Funding Proposal) as per Project requirement.
• Carry-out AMC management & review along with cost negotiations.
• Responsible for engaging with Internal & external Audit teams for queries and observations.
Preferred Candidate Profile
11-16 years of experience.
BE / MCA / B. Tech / BSc /
MSc in Computer Science or Information Technology.
Key Skills Required
• Experience in handling application related to BFSI domain.
• Knowledge of Cloud Native Applications, Dockers, Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift, AWS, GCP, CI/CD pipeline, API, microservices, Jenkins, Helm Charts, Maven,
• Kafka, ELK, Redis Cache, JFrog.
• Should understand following,
• API, XML, JSON, REST, SOAP, WebService
• o Agile Concepts.
• Sound knowledge and Hands on experience of having worked with:
• Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, and AIX etc.
• Database Systems: Oracle DB & POSTGRES
• App / Web Systems: WebSphere, Tomcat, Jboss
