Position Summary
Role- Data Engineer
Forensic Analytics is a fast-growth practice within Deloitte Risk and Financial Advisory that centers around several of the hottest areas of business today – analytics, forensic analysis, and litigation support – and the specialized skills that make careers in these areas both fascinating and in high-demand. Our Analytics team makes extensive use of data, statistical and quantitative analysis, rules-based methods, and explanatory and predictive modeling to bring insights to client issues in the forensic and transaction domains. We work with specialists in many areas, and we apply our solutions to a wide range of highly interesting and complex corporate challenges, such as forensic investigations, sales fraud, anti-corruption compliance, restructuring, safety and quality, enterprise fraud and misuse management to explain what has occurred in the past and to support informed decision making for the future. Our work increasingly employs specialized competencies, such as advanced analytics, visualization, and geospatial techniques
Work you’ll do
The Deloitte Managed Services & Products practice launched a new service in the forensics space to detect fraud, waste, and abuse in various industries. The Anti-Fraud Waste and Abuse solution, Pallium, continues to increase the capacity, quality, and efficiency of the Deloitte forensic processing by utilizing state-of-the-art technology and machine learned in a dedicated environment. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join Deloitte Forensic Product practice and help drive the success of the technology center. Here are just some to the things you will be doing:
• Functioning as a DevOps Engineer building our next generation cloud infrastructure.
• Rapid deployment, automation, monitoring and troubleshooting within a cloud hosted environment.
• Developing internal devops tools
• Creating and maintaining developer and production environments.
• Building and deploying Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters.
• Identify improvements to system scalability and stability.
• Implement enhancements and best practices for modern development principles and methodologies.
• Develop and maintain tooling to assist with things like integration tests, performance tooling, building production and staging environments, CI systems, source control etc.
• Work within a collaborative Agile team environment.
• Automate repetitive tasks in the team’s workflow.
Deploy, configure, and maintain Big Data stacks such as Hadoop, Spark, and EMR

Qualifications
What you will bring:
• 3+ years of devops experience in building and maintaining automated production grade systems
• Experience in Building and deploying Docker containers. Kubernetes a big plus!
• Deep experience in Configuration and Infrastructure Management using Terraform, Ansible or AWS Cloudformation
• Experience with scripting languages like bash, shell, python or powershell
• Experienced in application servers like nginx, IIS.
• Proficient in Linux and windows administration.
• Demonstrate knowledge of common networking protocols
• Experience with managing cloud-based environments, AWS / Azure.
• Familiarity with one of the following languages Python, C#, Javascript
• Familiarity with tools for systems management, operational support, and performance monitoring, such as Azure Appinsights, New Relic, AWS Cloud watch.
• Experience with Azure Devops, Jenkins and an understanding of continuous integration and delivery.
• Experience with Git and various branching strategies.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication, with a collaborative attitude and ability to work with in complex organizational structure.
