Job Description:
We are seeking a Technical Artist to join our team in creating high-quality visual effects, shaders, and materials that will drive the stunning look and performance of our game. As a Technical Artist, you will work closely with the Art and Programming teams to create optimized, visually rich content for both environments and characters.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design, create, and implement high-quality shaders and materials for both characters and environments in Unity.
Work closely with the art team to translate artistic concepts into realistic or stylized shaders (e.g., cel-shading, dynamic light interactions, and environmental materials).
Optimize shaders, materials, and assets for mobile performance while maintaining visual fidelity.
Implement advanced visual effects for characters (e.g., skin, hair, clothing) and environments (e.g., terrain, foliage, weather systems).
Collaborate with 3D artists to integrate custom shaders and materials with 3D models, ensuring seamless visual quality.
Apply and implement various lighting and shading models, ensuring dynamic lighting, reflective surfaces, and stylized environments.
Research and develop solutions to improve visual performance, including asset streaming, level-of-detail techniques, and culling methods.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience with Unity or similar engines.
Strong expertise in shader languages like HLSL, ShaderLab, GLSL.
Experience with Unity’s Shader Graph, VFX Graph, and material optimization.
Ability to deliver artistic quality while ensuring performance optimization for mobile platforms.
Experience in creating and integrating dynamic visual effects (weather, particle systems) and environment shaders.
A portfolio showcasing stylized shaders and high-quality visual effects.

Pay: ₹20,000.23 - ₹40,043.55 per month
