Join the United Apparel Group/Vertigo USA team as a Technical Designer with strong technical experience in Sweaters, woven blouse, pants & Suiting Construction.
We are seeking a talented individual, with a minimum of 5 years experience, to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of our fashion collections.
As a Technical Designer, you will be an integral part of the design team. Your skills will be crucial in translating design concepts into detailed technical sketches and specifications. You will also assist in creating and managing all technical design documentation, including tech packs and sample specifications. This is not a creative designer position, it is a TECHNICAL DESIGNER position.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with design director to transform initial sketches and ideas into precise technical CAD sketches and specifications.
- Create and update detailed tech packs, including design sketches, construction details, attending to PP’s, TOP’s & production grading for all sizes.
- Assist in fitting sessions and provide feedback on garment construction, fit, and overall quality.
- Great overseas communications needed to provide the best information to our factories
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Technical Designer with a specific focus on technical design.
