As a technical author or senior content writer at Luminos Software, your role will involve developing business content for C-Suite executives and senior leaders at small and medium-sized enterprises. Your primary project will be completing a business book focusing on technology decisions, digital transformation, and innovation. The manuscript is partially drafted, and you will refine it for publication within 4-6 months. This role includes collaborating closely with a subject matter expert to transform their insights into clear, engaging prose for senior business leaders.
• Key Responsibilities:
- Continue and refine existing content by reviewing drafted chapters, identifying gaps, and developing the manuscript
- Collaborate with the author to capture ideas and ensure alignment of voice and vision
- Independently research and synthesize material on business strategy, innovation methodologies, and digital transformation
- Write clear, compelling prose for a C-Suite audience
- Meet deadlines for manuscript completion and subsequent book development
- Manage revisions and iterate quickly on content
- Contribute to planning and developing future books and supporting materials
- Adapt to new tools and methods to enhance productivity and quality
• Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven long-form writing ability for professional audiences
- Audience awareness for business decision-makers or technically literate professionals
