About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Technical BA to join our Mobile App Team and bridge the gap between technical implementation and business requirements. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in refining and managing the technical backlog, ensuring that tasks are well-defined, understood, and prepared ahead of development sprints for both front-end and backend Microservices. The Technical BA will work closely with stakeholders, development team, and other technical and business leads to drive efficiency and clarity in project delivery.
Responsibilities
Backlog Management: Maintain and prioritize a well-groomed backlog of technical tasks and user stories.
Technical Documentation: Write detailed technical user stories, API specifications, and other documentation to ensure developers have clear and concise requirements.
Sprint Planning: Collaborate with the Product Manager and development team to plan and execute sprints effectively.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between the development team and the Product Manager to gather and clarify requirements.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the development team.
Scrum Master Duties: Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Service Design: Assist in the design and documentation of services to ensure alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.
Key Skills & Requirements
Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role in a software development environment.Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum.Ability to write and refine technical user stories with minimal ambiguity.Familiarity with API specifications and backend architecture.Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.Experience working with mobile app teams is a plus.Knowledge of QA processes and the ability to coordinate across technical and business testing layers.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with customer facing digital applications or mobile applicationsBackground in software development or technical consulting.Experience in facilitating discussions between cross-functional teams.Hands-on experience in tools such as Jira or other backlog management systems.
