Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Mechanical Technical Content Writer to join our team. As a Mechanical Technical Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content related to mechanical engineering, industrial equipment, manufacturing processes, and other mechanical topics.
Your primary focus will be on producing written materials that effectively communicate complex concepts to a wide audience, including technical professionals and general readers. This is a unique opportunity to combine your passion for mechanical engineering with exceptional writing skills.
Responsibilities:
Research and gather information on various mechanical engineering topics, including but not limited to, mechanical systems, machinery, thermodynamics materials science, and product design.
Create high-quality written content, including blog articles, whitepapers, technical guides, case studies, Website content, and product descriptions, that meet the needs of our target audience.
Translate technical concepts into clear and concise content that is accessible to both technical and nontechnical readers.
Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and other team members to understand complex mechanical topics and ensure accuracy in content creation.
Conduct thorough fact-checking and ensure content is well-referenced, credible, and up-to-date.
Edit and proofread content for grammar, clarity, and adherence to established style guidelines.
Optimize content for search engine optimization (S.E.O.) and incorporate relevant keywords and meta tags to improve organic search rankings.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in mechanical engineering, manufacturing processes, and related industries.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies, brainstorm new ideas, and contribute to the overall content marketing efforts
Review and update existing content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with current industry standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field. A combination of technical expertise and exceptional writing skills may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Proven experience as a technical writer, content writer, or similar role, with a portfolio of published work in the mechanical engineering domain.
Excellent command of the English language, with exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, concepts, and terminology.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Familiarity with content management systems (C.M.S.) and basic H.T.M.L.
Proficiency in conducting research using reliable sources, such as scientific journals, industry publications, and technical databases.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
Familiarity with S.E.O. best practices and the ability to incorporate keywords.
