The Technical Writer will work closely with subject matter experts to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into easy-to-understand language for end-users.
Key Responsibilities:
• Creating technical documentation, such as user manuals and release notes
• Writing blog posts, white papers, case studies, and other marketing materials
• Collaborating with subject matter experts to gather technical information
• Conducting research to stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the IT industry
• Editing and proofreading content to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Managing content distribution and promotion on various channels, such as social media and email newsletters
• Developing and maintaining style guidelines and content templates
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in technical writing, journalism, English, or a related field
• 2 years of experience in technical writing for IT products and services
• Strong writing and editing skills, with attention to detail
• Understanding of technical concepts and terminology related to software development, networking, and cloud computing
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of SEO and content marketing best practices is a plus
