Job Description
We are looking for a talented technical content writer to help create and build out a modern documentation and user assistance infrastructure. The Technical Writer will create and revise technical documents such as manuals, reports, brochures, or articles.
Desired Candidate Profile
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer Engineering, or strong technical credentials and equivalent experience.
· 2-3 years of experience as an effective technical writer.
· Proven ability to quickly learn and understand the complex subject matter.
· Experience in writing documentation and procedure manuals for various audiences.
· Experience in working with engineers to improve user experience, refine content, and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content.
· Strong active listening skills and excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
· Excellent ability to learn, understand and articulate software-related and technical concepts.
· Disseminating technical information in easy-to-understand language for a non-technical audience.
Roles and Responsibilities.
· Research, outline, write, and edit content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements.
· Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.
· Work with development and support leads to identify documentation repositories, revise, and edit, and determine the best solutions for data compilation.
· Research, create, and maintain information that adheres to organization standards.
· Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with a consistent voice across all documentation.
