Job Description
We are looking to hire a dedicated content writer to create content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, process document, user manuals, social media, and the company website.
One should be able to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products. You will be working collaboratively with developers, quality engineers, product managers, and usability experts to make our products easier to use.
The content writer's responsibilities include evaluating analytics to adjust content as needed, regularly updating the company's website, and promoting the company blog by pitching articles to various third-party platforms. You should also be able to follow editorial guidelines when creating content.
Responsibilities:
1. Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content.
2. Developing content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, process document, user manual, social media, and the company website.
3. Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.
4. Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements.
5. Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
6. Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides.
7. Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities.
Must Have Skills:
1. Proven working experience in writing for software development or information technology industry.
2. Proven content writing or copywriting experience.
3. Excellent writing and editing skills.
4. Effective communication skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
6. Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
7. Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
8. Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.
