CIMET - A Comparison Software Leader
CIMET is an Australian company that provides Comparison as a Service to many brands in Australia. Our mission is to help our customers live their financial best and save on everyday utilities.
Were looking for a creative thinker with excellent writing and research skills to help us elevate that work as our full-time, in-house copywriter.
Objective:
Continually raise the bar on creativity, writing fresh copy that connects with the desired audience and drives action
Comfortably vary voice, style, and other characteristics demanded by the industry, company, or target audience at hand
Responsibilities:
Write and edit copy for a variety of projects (including print, web, mobile, video, and social media), working closely with the design team to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and develop messaging.
Edit and proof work to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs
Collaborate with creative, product, marketing, and legal to assess project needs and help with messaging
Drive brand consistency across all company communications
Develop and implement brand guidelines
Stay current on trends and competitors within the editorial sphere
See projects through the whole creative lifestyle, from inception to deployment
Create and edit original copy that is accurate, well-researched, and meets company needs and deadlines.
Conduct research to formulate ideas or support writing.
Assist in other aspects of the creative or research processes to create cohesive, accurate content.
Ability to understand the needs associated with a project and the target audience.
Skills & Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications.
2-4 years experience in content marketing or copywriting.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
Strong creative thinking skills and ability to think conceptually.
Comfortable working independently with a little direction under tight deadlines.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar.
Proven ability to demonstrate brand voice.
