Technical Content Writer - Cybersecurity
We are looking for a talented and experienced Technical Content Writer with a strong focus on cybersecurity to join our team. As a Technical Content Writer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, relevance, and effectiveness of our cybersecurity training content. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce content that addresses the unique needs of our clients while staying ahead of industry trends.
Responsibilities:
• Content Evaluation: Review and assess existing content to maintain accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness in the ever-evolving field of cybersecurity.
• Technical Content Creation: Produce industry-specific and department-specific technical content to cater to a diverse audience with varying levels of expertise in cybersecurity.
• Content Improvement: Provide constructive feedback and recommendations to content writers to enhance content quality and alignment with industry standards.
• Content Strategy: Develop content strategies tailored to different difficulty levels, ensuring that our training materials meet the needs of various user groups and personas.
• SVI Compliance: Consistently adhere to our in-house process of SVI (Sharable Valuable Information) to curate high-quality content for our Training and Learning Management System (TLMS).
• Competitive Analysis: Conduct a thorough competitive analysis to identify industry trends, best practices, and potential gaps in our training offerings.
• Competitor Insights: Analyze global competitors' strategies and offerings to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities that can benefit our customers.
• Stay Current: Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and industry developments to ensure that our training materials remain competitive and relevant.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that content aligns with marketing and sales strategies. Translate complex security concepts into simplified, layman's terms.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or certifications in Computer Science, Journalism, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the IT sector, preferably with a focus on cybersecurity.
• Strong knowledge of IT concepts and best practices.
• Proven experience in analyzing competitor strategies and offerings.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
