Roles and Responsibilities
• Document technically accurate content for products including User Manuals, Quick guide
• Research and determine the technical documentation needs for the features
• Estimate efforts and deliver content on time
• Ensure quality of the documentation
• Execute day-to-day information engineering activities
• Create in-depth user guides, FAQs, technical overviews, and in-product help documentation
• Identify problem areas or structural deficiencies and proactively contribute to their improvement
• Experience creating info graphics to more clearly communicate workflow processes and abstract topics
• Build and maintain client aids that go beyond traditional documentation, such as online video, demos, guided tours, and other other educational techniques
• Maintain a library of application documentation, cataloging it for internal and/or external use
• Publish and maintain templates for written documentation produced by others (technical specifications, RFP responses, ), ensuring a consistent 'look and feel.'
• Proven experience producing technical content for public consumption
Qualification
• Bachelors degree in Engineering/core sciences, or Masters in English Language/Technical Communication
2. 5 to 7 years of experience in technical writing, with at least 3-4 years of experience product documentation
