The Role

We are hiring a Technical Customer Support Specialist to join our expanding team in Sydney, focused on transforming customer support for an AI-first world.

This role goes beyond ticket resolution. You’ll drive proactive support by building automation through agents, engaging our customer community, and developing educational content. You’ll be a key contributor to how Relevance AI supports customers at scale - delivering empathetic, technical, and efficient experiences.

You’ll be joining a tight-knit team focused on reimagining the support craft: from traditional queues to building and managing AI agents, contributing to support ops processes, and amplifying customer education through content and community.

Your Impact

Work on 10 to 30 customer tickets daily, maintaining high empathy, clarity, and technical precision.

Build AI Agents that automate internal support processes and reduce repeat issues.

Create educational resources, including documentation, video walkthroughs, help articles, and community how-tos.

Engage in community support and enablement, contributing to forums, live sessions, and onboarding spaces.

Improve our support operations through involvement in release readiness, incident management, or voice-of-customer initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

2–5 years experience in technical customer support or adjacent technical roles (e.g. Business Analyst, Support Ops).

Strong background in supporting SaaS platforms and working across multiple customer tiers (free to enterprise).

Hands-on familiarity with APIs, debugging, or some Python scripting. You're not afraid to get technical, even if you're still learning.

Passionate about AI tools and how they can improve customer experience. Experience building AI agents or prompt engineering is a major plus.

Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical issues into customer-friendly solutions.

Comfortable working in a high-growth environment where speed, autonomy, and collaboration matter.

Bonus: interest in content creation, community building, or support operations projects.
