LALP is an International Architecture and Planning firm with a presence in the US, DC Metropolitan and at its international headquarters located in India.
We specialize in the residential industry, but we are breaking the mold and expanding further into Office Conversions, Student Housing, Mixed-Use commercial + residential, not to mention our long standing and successful Single-Family & Townhome studio.
This unique opportunity is available for an experienced hands-on technical professional to join our studios. We are in search of highly skilled technical professionals of Architecture to grow and expand our international teams.
You will be partnered with licensed Architects whose focus is on Residential projects, Multi-Family & Mixed-Use Architecture clients across the world.
As a Technical Design Lead, your day-to-day expectations will include:
• In this role you will be the liaison for our US client staff and mentoring our mid-level staff members onsite.
• You will be responsible for deadlines, training, and project communication to our Architects.
• Much of your day will be connecting with our Architects on the workload expectations and deadlines for assigned projects.
• You will then formulate task assignments and delegate the work to the mid-level staff for completion.
• Lastly, you will own and manage the more complex work tasks while also implementing your technical expertise to the project assignments from our Clients.
To succeed in this position, you must have:
• Bachelor of Architecture degree
• 5+ years of experience in Architecture
• Proficiencies in Photoshop, Sketch Up, AutoCAD
• Team Lead experience
