Key Responsibilities:
- Create and update detailed tech packs including measurements, construction details, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Interpret design sketches into technical specifications.
- Review and approve samples including proto and fit samples.
- Conduct fit sessions and provide corrective feedback.
- Collaborate with designers, pattern makers, and vendors.
- Ensure consistency in fit, sizing, and grading.
- Identify and resolve garment construction issues.
- Maintain size specifications and grading rules.
- Communicate technical requirements to factories and vendors.
- Track sample development timelines and approvals.
Qualifications Required:
- Degree or Diploma in Fashion Design, Apparel Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in technical design or garment tech role.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction and fit.
- Proficiency in creating tech packs.
- Understanding of fabrics, trims, and production processes.
