• Understanding of deployment issues in a complex environment (service dependencies, interoperability, build pipelines, containerisation, orchestration etc.)
• Experience in writing technical design documents
• Experience working on CI/CD platforms at all stages of development
• Strong experience with API design and development
• Having designed solutions that are highly available, performant and scalable
• Experience evaluating purpose driven 3rd party open source / COTS tools
• Exposure to AWS Cloud Services
Requirements:
• 15+ years of experience in building enterprise-class software development
• B.Tech in Computer Science or related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with engineering leaders, product management, and strategic partners to define and deliver on the technical strategy and product vision.
• Collaborate with other software engineers, product managers, and UX designers to create and improve the developer experience
• Continuously assess newer and emerging technologies/customer use cases. Play the role of a player/coach with the engineering team to take an idea from proving the concept, prototyping, and piloting the feature to finally delivering a generally available solution
• Defines practical architectural, design, and coding guidelines as engineering best practices. Focuses on all aspects of engineering - development, quality, performance and security
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a consistent and seamless developer experience across all of our offerings
