What’s the opportunity?
We’re now seeking a Technical Installation Lead for Solar and Electrical. Based in our Auckland HQ as part of our Home Solutions microenterprise and reporting to our GM Customer Experience, you’ll work across both Fisher & Paykel and Haier brands and ensure the highest-quality installation standards, adherence to health & safety practices and delivery of a customer facing service operation from design through to install and commission.
This role is at the forefront protecting our brand and provides an opportunity for a highly experienced Solar expert to support Home Solutions to meet its key objectives, including delivering a brand-aligned seamless experience to all customers, influencing enduring customers that increase market share and profitable growth in the short and long term. You will act as the key technical expert between the design team and field teams.

You’re an expert in solar installations. Your knowledge of product, its systems, compliance requirements & safety risks, means you set high-quality installation standards, contributing your knowledge of how to mitigate these risks. You’re proactive, have a continuous improvement mindset, and demonstrate high levels of commercial acumen. Essentially, you've got it all when it comes to leading Solar installations and you’re keen to play a key role in leading the ongoing development and sustainability of technical knowledge growth in this sector.
You must hold relevant licences, in particular a current Electrical Licence, drivers licence, working at heights and site safety card. A solar endorsement, or ability to obtain one, along with an Inspectors Certificate is highly preferred.
