Job description
Job Title: Instructional Designer (Contract)
Company: Academian
Location: Remote
Duration: 3 months project
Academian is a leading educational solutions provider committed to fostering innovative learning experiences. We are currently seeking a skilled Instructional Designer to join our team on a temporary basis for a project duration of 3 months. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to curriculum development and create engaging learning materials.
Must :
• Open to work during US/Europe hours
• Knowledge of Git and GitHub
• Proficiency in at least one programming language
• Rate of $30 or lower
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with our curriculum development team to design and develop instructional materials for various courses.
• Utilize instructional design principles to create effective and engaging learning experiences.
• Conduct needs assessments and analyze learning objectives to inform course design.
• Develop course outlines, storyboards, and instructional content based on established learning objectives.
• Work closely with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of course content.
• Incorporate multimedia elements, interactive components, and assessments into course materials.
• Review and revise course materials based on feedback from stakeholders and instructional designers.
• Ensure that course materials comply with accessibility standards and best practices.
• Meet project deadlines and milestones while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or e-learning development.
• Proficiency with instructional design software and tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia).
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design theories, and learning technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and course authoring tools is a plus.
• This is a temporary position with a duration of 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance.
