About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead (X86 VMware Infrastructure Cloud) to join our Cloud Practice team. This role is pivotal in managing and maintaining our private cloud stack, driving hybrid cloud operations, and supporting our transformation into a modern managed services provider. You'll work hands-on with infrastructure technologies, lead operational excellence, and contribute to innovation and automation initiatives.

What You Will Do Here:
Cloud & Infrastructure Operations:
Establish and manage production environments in Azure and private cloud (VMware).
Maintain infrastructure across two Equinix-hosted data centres.
Support IT code releases, testing, and configuration migrations.
Automation & Innovation:
Automate routine processes using scripting and tools like Terraform and Ansible.
Drive continuous improvement, cross-skilling, and knowledge sharing.
Technical Excellence:
Administer hosted applications and optimise configurations.
Manage application source code, deployment, and monitoring.
Document operational procedures and solutions.
Who You Are:
Technical Expertise:
Strong experience with VMware vSphere 8, X86 hardware (e.g. Dell PowerEdge), IBM Storage, and SAN switch management (Cisco/Brocade).
Proficient in Windows Server and RedHat Enterprise Linux.
Familiar with hybrid cloud transformation and Azure services (Azure AD, DevOps, ARM templates).
Desirable Skills:
Backup solutions (IBM Spectrum Protect, Veeam).
Scripting (PowerShell, JSON, YAML).
Networking (FortiGate, Azure Firewalls, Arista).
Windows services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy).
Exposure to IBM Power Series and ITIL environments.
Personal Qualities:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Tenacious problem solver with leadership adaptability.
