Position Purpose
The Oracle Developer will be responsible to:
• Develop Oracle SQL and PLSQL Packaged Procedures and Functions;
• Deliver and Deploy the unit tested code into the IST , UAT and Prod Environments;
• To optimize the code for maintenance and improve performance of the application.
• To assist Production Support Team in case of any Production issue Analysis and Resolution.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
• Study and understand the business requirements;
• Develop Oracle Packaged Procedures and functions to suffice the business requirements;
• Adhere to the standards and practices followed in the Project;
• Unit and Integrate test the code developed;
• Communicate with the cross teams and perform the integration testing of the code developed;
• Work on the peer reviews done by the Oracle Experts.
• Provide Assistance to Production Support Team in need.
Contributing Responsibilities
• Adhere to the standards and practices followed in the Project;
• Communicate with the cross teams and perform the integration testing of the code developed;

Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Technical skills :
• Good knowledge of the business of the Investment bank .- Desirable.
• Basic knowledge of Securities Payment System – Desirable
• Good hands-on experience in Oracle SQL / PLSQL Experience
• Good Knowledge of the Oracle Internal Architecture
• Good Knowledge on the Performance tuning of Oracle PLSQL Code
• Experience of the tools and version control tools like (Quality Center , GIT Lab , PLSQL Developer , SQL Developer etc)
• Good Communication Skills and must poses other soft skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of Oracle Scheduler and Oracle Advanced Queues – Desirable.
