Job Description
We are looking for a Technical Lead who will be responsible for guiding and mentoring a team of developers in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications. The ideal candidate should be hands-on creative and passionate about new technology in Angular, NodeJS, AWS, MVC and enjoy collaboration, software programming/coding, and sharing knowledge to make an impact on project delivery.
Responsibilities:
• Guide and mentor reporting team and create high performing technology teams.
• Monitor module progress and ensure regular publishing of status report and quality matrices to track the risks and work actively to resolve/mitigate the same.
• Solid understanding of the practical application of agile development methods and leading software development teams in an Agile/Lean/Continuous Delivery environment.
• Solid understanding and experience of version control systems like Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, SVN, etc.
• Should be seasoned and expert in Solution and Technical architecture.
• Should be passionate, a voracious continuous learner who keeps up with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in the industry.
• Must hold expertise in AWS.
• Understand all times, technical depth, and client expectation to maintain check on project health, monitor critical path items, risks, and impact to timelines.
• Track, analyze, and monitor technology performance metrics.
• Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture.
• Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in the technology landscape.
• Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation, and creativity.
• Able to lead and interpret business requirements into actionable technical requirements.
• Identify, review, and present input on project activities and plans.
• Confirm the transfer of knowledge as necessary throughout the project.
• Coaching and collaborating with other developers and team members.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6-15 Years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in multiple technologies such as Modern JavaScript framework (preferably Angular 2 and above), Plain old Vanilla JavaScript, React, MVC, JQuery, Web API, Node.JS, AWS, HTML, CSS, etc.
• Effective communication and interactive skills
