About Enterprise Factory South
HDFC Bank embarked on significant digitalization initiatives starting 2021. As part of that initiative, Enterprise Factory South team was setup to develop in house engineering capability for the Bank. The team is building products in the channel and payments area, across multiple businesses for the Bank.
Job Purpose
• Responsible for providing technical leadership to programs managed by Enterprise Factory team.
Job Responsibilities(JR) : 6 – 8 Areas
• Understand the requirements, prepare technical specs, review technical design
• Drive development of applications
• Provide technical guidance to teams
• Involve in development activities as needed
• Perform code reviews, drive coding best practices
• Drive branching strategy, release planning and deployment activities
• Ensure high quality of code delivered
• Drive environment strategy
• Define implementation plans on the Cloud and drive implementation of products and apps on the Cloud
• Understand NFR’s and ensure Infrastructure and solution meets the NFR’s
Actionable (4-6)
• Perform code reviews of the product
• Define standards and guidelines for coding, code version control, branching, security and vulnerability scans
• Contribute and review testing approach and strategy
• Work with the UX designer, BA and PM and finalize the UI design
• Escalate to the management in case anything is behind schedule
• Be proactive, foresee risks and issues
Qualification and Years of work experience
○ Total Yrs of experience: 12-14 years of IT experience in a hands-on capacity
○ Engineering graduate, computer science preferable
Skills:
• Currently working in the capacity of a Technical / Development lead
• Excellent knowledge of backend technologies – Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Database – MySQL, PostgreSQL MongoDB
• Knowledge of UI technologies – Angular
• Prior experience of high-volume Digital Product and App implementation on Cloud is a must
• Agile Experience
• Exposure to application deployment on the Cloud (AWS or Google)
• Very Strong technical experience – Full Stack
• Has the ability to come up with technical design
• Must be able to provide technical guidance to the developers
• Good Communication skills – written and verbal
• Ability to identify detailed activities, plan them along with the PM
• Co-ordination between different stakeholders
• Be proactive, open and honest in communicating with management
• Ability to communicate effectively with the stakeholders – internal and external
• Ability to interact at various levels within the organization
• Ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues
