Responsibilities
• To help shape and define the Marketplace Services vision and to drive the roadmap.
• Manage our developer-facing API platform as a product and work closely with the delivery team to plan, prioritize, support, and monitor enhancements to meet the evolving needs of our product teams.
• Ensure the cidaas Developer Experience when dealing with marketplace services is coherent, frictionless, and consistent.
• Drive a platform-first mindset in the Marketplace Services organization, ensuring that cidaas gets a Right Fit platform that allows us to move fast to deliver products to customers.
• Develop and refine the Marketplace Services vision and roadmap based on your understanding of cidaas product and technology roadmaps and ambitions.
• Work closely with Architecture, Engineering, Strategy, and Product to continually evolve the Marketplace Services Platform products to ensure they can be easily consumed by Partner developers.
• Understand the Platform products, including their technical specifications and benefits, and effectively communicate these benefits to commercial and technical audiences.
• Owning the performance of the Marketplace Services products and services by defining success criteria with customers, monitoring, and reporting on Key Metrics and Outcomes, and using these metrics to drive the evolution of the Platform products.
Requirements
• A technical software background, such as a Developer or Architect, and experience in product management or a strong demonstrated interest in this area.
• A strong analytical, planning, and strategic visionary mindset.
• Ideally, you will have some experience working with roadmaps as a technical product owner, technical product manager, or engineering leader.
• An interest in being an advocate for developers as your customer' and a clear understanding of the good processes and compelling ways of working creates an attractive platform for developers and creates product success.
• Have empathy and a clear understanding of the product manager's needs and enjoy being that crucial hinge point between the two for the ultimate build and product success.
• The strong customer focuses whether that be for developers, product teams, and/or end-users.
• Experience with B2B products involving 3rd party partnerships and integrations would be ideal, but not essential.
• Ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations involving complex trade-offs, as well as managing conflicting priorities across multiple projects & with multiple stakeholders.
• Well-developed communication, relationship management, and presentation skills with the ability to influence well and build and maintain strong and credible relationships and lead cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes
