Job Title: Tech Lead Location: Melbourne Hybrid Salary: 90,000 AUD Base plus performance based reviews
About Litecard Litecard is a technology platform helping brands create CRM and promotional experiences through mobile wallets. The platform enables brands to connect online and offline customer journeys without requiring an app and is used across multiple global markets.
The Role We are hiring a Tech Lead to drive technical excellence across the Litecard platform. You will lead architecture, guide engineering execution, and work closely with product and business teams to deliver scalable solutions. This role is both strategic and hands on, with responsibility across system design, development, and team mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership Own system architecture, cloud infrastructure, and deployment pipelines Define coding standards and best practices across the engineering team Drive improvements in scalability, performance, and reliability
Engineering Delivery Contribute to and review high impact code across multiple projects Ensure features are delivered on time and aligned with product goals Maintain high system uptime and performance
Team Collaboration Mentor developers through code reviews and technical guidance Coordinate with offshore teams to deliver projects effectively Support planning, estimation, and prioritisation of work
Product and Platform Support global deployment of digital wallet passes at scale Manage updates, versioning, and lifecycle of platform features Ensure system monitoring and performance across regions
Cross Functional Work Partner with product, sales, and customer success teams Translate business requirements into technical solutions Support integrations with CRM, PoS, and eCommerce platforms
About You
5 or more years of software development experience using Node.js, Python, or similar 2 or more years in a senior or lead engineering role Strong experience with API architecture, cloud platforms, and CI CD pipelines Experience working with third party integrations or SDKs Strong communication and documentation skills A collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Performance and Growth
Quarterly KPI reviews tied to technical delivery and leadership outcomes Opportunity for regular salary increases based on performance Exposure to global deployments and enterprise clients Ability to influence the technical direction of a growing platform
