Job Description
1. As part of the project solutions process, drive, review, and validate the initial high-level solution design together with the business transformation team and development team for design approvals.
2. Lead solution design for projects comprising of a cross-functional project team in alignment with the overall IT landscape of the bank during project execution. This involves actively working with the team to analyze functional and non-functional requirements, translate them into a solution, and ensuring that the proposed architecture is feasible and aligned to the bank’s IT landscape, regulatory and security requirements.
3. Familiar with architectural patterns, integration patterns and possess a wide knowledge of commonly used third-party tools & frameworks which can be effectively positioned to solve a Bank’s need.
4. Collaborate effectively with both business and technology stakeholders, to ensure solutions are aligned to standards.
5. Contribute to ongoing architecture governance in the form of reviewing proposed solutions. Maintain or create new architecture standards (where applicable), processes as well as related processes. Participate in the definition and implementation of enterprise architecture frameworks within the client environment, where necessary.
Key Requirements:
1. Professional degree or equivalent in IT discipline
2. Financial technology background is a must with experience in service digitization and core banking systems.
3. 5 years or more Java microservices development experience including at least 1 years of experience in a similar capacity as a lead.
4. Strong technical background in integration with a good understanding of API Microservices concepts, software design patterns, event-based processing, databases, caching technologies, web protocols, web services.
5. Excellent application analysis, design, and system integration skills.
6. Significant hands-on experience in J2EE and Java applications development, knowledge, and experience in mobile development is a plus.
