Oracle Database Administrator 4
Duties of Position: (Include specific duties and responsibilities)
• Above 8+yrs of experience in Oracle Apps 11i & R12 and Database 11g & 12c administration.
• Strong working experience in monitoring, performance tuning & production support
• Experience in managing very large, highly transactional, multiple RDBMS Oracle Databases.
• Expertise in all major versions of technology stack including Database, iAS, Forms, Reports, PL/SQL, Java Enterprise Manager, SOA, WebLogic and JVM
• Should have experience on ADPatch, Autoconfig utility, AD utilities etc.
• Hands-on experience in ASM & Data Guard
• Good understanding of Backup and Recovery concepts
• Hands-on experience in database backups & Data Guard
• Develop scripts for database task scheduling, monitoring and maintenance.
• Knowledge in RAC will be an advantage
• WebLogic efficiency Tuning and Troubleshooting
• Readiness to work in shifts and Weekend On call support
• Good knowledge of basic Unix shell scripting will be added advantage
• Good communication skills (verbal and written) to interact with Customers
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills with focus on solving problems separately
• Involve in meetings with Customer / Business User to understand their expectations
