Job Description
The Gold Loan business has collateral risk, Assayer Risk and requires good customer selection.
The key job responsibilities would be as follows Implementing of the defined policy Underwriting of all cases > Rs 10 lacs Detail understanding of the gold loan biz.
Follow Regulatory requirements with respect to RBI guidelines Base customer selection on Analytics and Credit Bureau history Revisit underwriting processes to match the TAT of the industry Understand competition with respect process pricing and collateral evaluation techniques.
Processing CAMs within the TAT SLA Should have the ability to take informed decisions on big deals and try to close them with mitigants Base rejections with sound justification.
Ability to support the team when prices are falling Approve sale of gold.
Travel to various locations to understand geography specifications and collaterals available in these regions.
To be customer centric Track non renewals / repayment of big cases and put them up for case study within the Underwriting team Check for sourcing blips from a particular branches/ regions Should be able to log cases for PSL / Agri with proper justification and documents.
Should be able to deliver informative MIS to Management in a timely manner.
Adapt to changes in policy and change process accordingly.
