The role

Key responsibilities undertaken by the Technical Officer – Engineering include:

Assisting in the scoping and projects and preparation of specifications, estimates, plans and concepts for proposed infrastructure and minor projects

Reviewing and resolving engineering requests, assessing minor works permit applications and providing surveillance on construction projects

Undertaking traffic engineering assessments

Work in conjunction with other members of the Infrastructure Unit to bring about timely delivery of projects within approved parameters

Our ideal candidate

To be successful in this role you will have:

relevant qualifications and/or experience in a civil engineering environment

a current Victorian Drivers Licence

great communication and problem solving skills

demonstrated computer literacy
