Join City of Moreton Bay as a Technical Officer Traffic Engineering, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.
As our Technical Officer Traffic Engineering you will provide technical advice and input into the investigation, planning, analysis, design and development of solutions to customer enquiries relating to road safety and transport issues in accordance with legislation and Council’s strategic planning objectives.
You will have the opportunity to develop innovative solutions-based outcomes that integrate transport, water sensitive design, streetscaping and urban design outcomes within the public realm and which interface with private spaces that are context sensitive and consistent with “Complete Streets” principles.
You will work across a broad array of stakeholders consulting on integrated transport and land use planning and design.

About you
We are seeking someone who has knowledge and experience in traffic planning and design. You will have demonstrated abilities in investigative, analytical and research. You will be able to read and interpret technical drawings associated with integrated transport, infrastructure and land use concept plans and designs.
You will bring excellent time management skills and be able to provide technical reports that meet client needs.
