Job Description
As a Sr. Technical Delivery Manager you will be responsible for leading the Jr. Technical Delivery Managers and also accountable for the overall delivery of the Remote Infrastructure Services including, but not limited to Server platform management services, Network Support, Database Service and Backup services. We are looking for: Experience in leading and managing the Jr. Technical Delivery Managers Experience in setting up processes and standards for the team and improve the delivery services. Highly self-motivated and able to work effectively with different divisions and levels Possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills Possess strong analytical capability to identify essential issues in complex technical and business problems Ability to embrace new and innovative technologies/applications for the benefit of the IT Services Group Strong ability to establish strong internal and external relationships to facilitate the achievement of strategic and operational objectives. Strong leadership skills, applicable at the mid to senior management level Possess strong interpersonal, relationship management, influencing and negotiation skills. Sponsor/Champion process improvement projects to improve process efficiencies. Work with support functions to enable infrastructure support to team and ensure zero downtime. Resource utilization and scheduling of end to end work. Review documentation and knowledge transfer as per the project plan. Drive knowledge management and continuous up skilling of the team. Plan for resources based on volume projection and current available head count and allocate responsibilities. Adopt best practices from other processes/ verticals etc. Share value addition and best practices across teams. Job Requirements Details: Should have experience in delivering projects for RIM. Should have Extensive technical knowledge of any of the following tracks and knowledge of the rest Cloud and Virtualization Platform Support Windows Server platform management services - Onprem and AWS cloud Network &Firewall Support including Telecom and SDWAN Database Service - MSSQL, Oracle Backup & Storage services - EMC Be responsible and accountable for the delivery of RIM (Remote Infrastructure Services), to the customer round the clock. Interact with the team on daily basis, be up to date with the delivery scope and challenges and provide guidance to the team when needed. Be the primary point of contact for any IT matters related to the service, working closely with lines of business, cross-functional IT groups as well as external clients Ensure the agreement and operation of SLAs and OLAs, with new and current customers, both internal and external Represent the service on customer meetings and in project workshops as required. Identify opportunities for service improvements, discuss with the customer and raise a RFC (request for change) as needed Liaison with the appropriate process owners throughout the service life cycle Manage continuous improvement of processes to reduce costs without impacting the service provided to clients Practical experience of service and process design, implementation and improvement Proven ability to present strategies and change initiatives to both technical and non-technical audiences
